WAY TO GO!!!
One of Burkwood’s 3.5 Women’s Weekday teams has won a wildcard position to the USTA Mid-Atlantic Sectionals in August. Over the weekend of July 16th through 18th, at the USTA Districts Championships, the team won their flight, then the elimination round match and finally finished the round robin finals with a 1-1 win-loss record. The team’s only loss was to the eventual winners, NOVA Kiss My Ace.
