Swimming at Burkwood
Our outdoor facilities include an eight lane, 25 meter competition pool, a z-shaped pool with a diving well and shallow area, a separate wading pool for tots and a snack bar. Summer swim and dive teams are available for ages up to 18.
Our indoor facility, shown below, houses a 25 yard pool and a separate tot pool. Year-round swim lessons, clinics for members and non-members, water aerobics and reserved lap lanes offer ample opportunity and enjoyment for all ages.

Competitive Swimming
Burkwood hosts two swim teams on-site, one summer program (BUCS) and one year round program (BAC).
Burkwood Buccaneers (BUCS) is our summer program for members only. This program begins in May and ends around the end of July each summer with a huge Championship meet. There are many events available to children ranging in age 4 to age 18.
